The Rico Alpine Society (RAS) is a non-profit outdoor volunteer organization based in Rico, Colorado, that formed in the summer of 2003. All residents, property owners and visitors that appreciate the outdoors in the Rico area are welcomed and invited to join the Rico Alpine Society. The RAS is in its infancy; however, there are already many activities scheduled for this summer. For more information please see the by-laws below, or contact one of the board members.

Mission Statement: “The Rico Alpine Society exists to promote the preservation, restoration, and appreciation of the natural outdoor environment in the Rico area through the active involvement of the Rico Community by volunteer activities, education and charitable contributions.”
