NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Rico Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the Rico Town Hall, 2 N. Commercial Street, regarding an application by the Town of Rico (applicant) to amend the Rico Land Use Code.  The proposed modifications and amendments are available for review at the Town Clerk’s office, located at 2 N. Commercial Street, during the normal business hours of Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Written comments may be mailed to Jennifer Stark, Rico Planner, P.O. Box 9, Rico, CO 81332 or emailed to stark@ricocolorado.org.  Comments received by May 28th will be forwarded to the Rico Planning Commission prior to the public hearing.

The applicant seeks an amendment to the 2008 Rico Land Use Code to modify sections 204.6, 212, 854.8 and remove Graphic 1: Building Height Calculation pg. A2-2, and to add sections 212.1, 212.2 and the definition of Roof Segment to the Rico Land Use Code in Rico, Colorado according to the procedures outlined in Section 410 of the 2008 Rico Land Use Code.  


PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Rico has a vacancy to fill on the Town Board.  Person (s) shall be a qualified elector and shall have resided in the Town of Rico for one (1) year.  If you are interested, please submit a letter to the Town Clerk at the Rico Town Hall or attend the next Regular Town Board meeting, May 21, 2008.  The Town Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.


PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Rico has three (3) vacancies on the Planning Commission for a regular seat and an alternate.  If you are interested serving on one of these seats, please submit a letter to the Town Clerk by May 21, 2008.  The Planning Commission meets on the last Tuesday of the month.
